INDIVIDUAL
Must be at least 55 years old.
Must have been an active baseball scout for at least 25 years.
Must be unemployed or working less than full-time at the time of application.
Must demonstrate financial need, due to age, illness, disability, unemployment or other factors beyond his/her control rendering the applicant unable to cover his or her heath care/basic living or those of his/her dependents.

FAMILY MEMBERS
The dependents of a deceased professional scout, who meet the individual eligibility requirements, may apply for assistance within a year of his/her death.

SELECTION OF RECIPIENTS
Grants will be selected by the PBSF Board of Directors, based on the applicant's need. PBSF Grant Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
